Frequently Asked Questions

  • What type of photography do you do?

Bona Fide Photography, LLC  is where photography combines with art. I specialize in individual and couple portraiture, event, and culinary still-life photography services. .  

  • How do I book a BFP portrait session?

 Begin by visiting our Calendly consultation page (https://calendly.com/bonafidephotography5280) to select a date/time for

 a 30min. consultation.  Please be advised that the consultation calendar is updated monthly.  Also, a consultation booking does not mean a portrait session has been reserved. The date and time of your portrait session, should we mutually determine that we will be a good fit, will be discussed and confirmed during your consultation. 

  • How will I receive the service agreement and submit payment?

The contract will be sent to you as an attachment to your invoice, which is sent via PayPal.   You will review and sign the contract and return it via email when you submit your deposit via PayPal. You will need to provide your email address for receiving your invoice and photo gallery, as we will as your residential address for determining your taxes. Your email and residential addresses will not be sold or used for any other purpose outside of providing you with the requested photography services. Like your photo gallery, your email and residential address will be deleted after 60 days of gallery delivery. We do not collect or retain your financial information. Please see PayPal for privacy information regarding payment and personal information collected. 

  • Do you do payment plans?

 Yes. *Payment plans will be discussed during consultation as this option will be determined based on the portrait experience selected. 

  • How much is the deposit?

 $50, which is due with the return of your service agreement. 

  • When is my payment due?

 Your final payment is due 48hrs before your portrait session or event. 

  • What should I wear? 

Something that is flattering and that you feel confident in. I offer styling assistance. (Please note that if you select Option III, we will have a planning session to discuss wardrobe, hair, and makeup.)

  • What do you think will be the best location?

If you do not have a location in mind, we can discuss possible locations that will fit your session during your    

consultation. *Please note that some locations may require a fee, permit, or other requirements that will need to be met before your portrait session date. As such, be sure to allow for enough time between the date of your session and the time it takes to request a permit.

  • How do I get my pictures?

When your photos are ready, you will receive a link via email to your private, password-protected CloudSpot gallery.

  • How long does it take to receive my pictures?

Due to the volume of editing sessions for clients, your photos will be delivered two weeks after your photo session.  

 

  • Do I have to do a consultation?

Yes.  Consultations are highly recommended as they will allow us to meet, discuss your photography services needs, and

determine if we will be able to assist you with those needs. 

  • Do you offer discounts?

No, we do not.  However, we occasionally run periodic promotions for mini-sessions, which will be posted. on our social

media pages.
