Published food & Beverage writing and photos In 2024, I made a decision that has provided both joy and a deeper understanding, which has made me a better food photographer. Becoming an intern at 303 Magazine and then a freelance writer for the Food & Beverage Team has provided me with the foundation and continued honing of my food writing skills. Both of my grandmothers were renowned in their hometown of Indianola, Mississippi, for their exceptional cooking skills. My Grandma Frazier ran a cafe, and my Grandma Annie prepared many dinners for the families she worked for, the Men's Lodge, and her church. They passed down their skills and love for cooking to many of the women in my family, to include my mother. While I have some tools in my toolbox, my love for food comes from the memories of family gatherings - the laughter, the stories, the love. This is the core of my passion for food photography and writing about the people who prepare the amazing dishes and drinks we love and enjoy. Frequently Asked Questions **What type of photography do you offer?** Editorial, Commercial, Food & Products, Lifestyle & Branding **How do I book a portrait session?** To book a session, select the booking link that will take you to the scheduling site. **How will I receive the service agreement and make a payment?** The service agreement and invoice will be sent to you via CloudSpot. **Do you offer payment plans?** Not at this time. **What is the deposit amount?** The deposit is 25% of your package rate, plus applicable sales tax. **When is my final payment due?** Your final payment is due the day of your session. **What should I wear?** Choose something flattering that makes you feel confident. I also offer styling assistance and styling guides to help you select the right outfit for your session. **What location do you recommend for the session?** We can discuss options during your consultation if you don’t have a location. Some locations may require a fee or permit, so please allow sufficient time for any necessary arrangements before your session. An in-studio option is also available. **How will I receive my photos?** Once your photos are ready, you will receive a link via email to your private, password-protected CloudSpot gallery. **How long does it take to receive my photos?** Depending on the editing volume, your edited photos will be delivered two weeks after your session. I will remain in communication regarding the status of your gallery to advise when it has been sent. **Is a consultation necessary?** Yes, consultations are highly recommended to discuss your photography needs and ensure expectations are discussed. A consultation is required for any food and product services and lifestyle sessions where accommodations for those to be included are applicable. **Do you offer discounts?** We do not offer discounts, but we occasionally run promotions for mini-sessions, which will be announced on our social media pages.
